DO YOU USE HARMFUL CHEMICALS? We use an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach lawn and garden problems. First we determine if the problem is unacceptable (many people don’t mind a little clover in their lawn, for example. Next, we try mechanical and cultural techniques (weeding, pruning, regular mowing, etc) to promote plant health. Biological controls such as BTK and nematodes are also available. The best pest control is prevention. A healthy and well cared for plant is less prone to disease than a neglected one. To date True Earth has never had to apply chemical insecticides. DO YOU DO TREE WORK? We can handle pruning up to 20’ and can sometimes remove slightly larger trees, depending on the logistics. We can also pull a 6” wood chipper for the clean-up of fallen trees.
